Octopus for PlayBook(русская версия)We've been studying PlayBook capabilities for some time and developed some demos and tests. But we wanted to try to develop something simple yet interesting and upload it to BlackBerry AppWorld so that every PlayBook owner could download and install it. That's when this old game from childhood came to our mind.
Elektronika IM-03 «Mysteries of the ocean» (Тайны океана) was one of the most popular electronic games in the USSR. It was almost exact copy of the Nintendo's Octopus from the Game & Watch line of handheld electronic games.
And now you can play it on your PlayBook!
In the game, you, the diver, must get around an octopus whom is trying to capture you and get to the treasure. The player's three chances are measured by extra divers on the savage ship. When one is attack by the Octopus' tentacles, another takes his place.
